The World Café committee is planning three events about dementia. The first event will focus on basic information about dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

On Saturday, October 29, from 1 – 3 pm, Robyn Springer, a nurse educator for Baptist Housing, and Pat Totton, our parish nurse will provide information on what dementia is and how it is diagnosed and treated.

On Sunday October 30, following church, we will show the film “Still Alice”. A light lunch will be provided for a donation.

On November 5, we will host an actual World Café event. Using the wisdom of those gathered, we will provide an opportunity to explore our fears about dementia and its effects on the family and friends. These events are independent, but complimentary. Please sign up in the hall.
