Church Groups
We are an multigenerational community offering something for all ages
Meeting once a month on the last Friday of the month, this is a social group for women in the congregation. Gatherings are held in restaurants, at members’ homes, or at the church depending on the program. New members and/or visitors are always welcome. Programs have included a craft night, bowling, making soup to be served at Inn from the Cold, a documentary & discussion. Come meet old and new friends and have fun together.
The purpose of the UCW is “To unite all women of the congregation for the total mission of the church and to provide a medium through which we may express our loyalty and devotion to Jesus Christ in Christian Witness, Study, Fellowship and service.”
The Bankhead Unit meets in members’ homes. Basically a social group, they support the the Church’s Food Cupboard, both individually and as a group.
The Isabel Leitch unit meets on the second Tuesday of each month and also donates to the Church Food Cupboard.

Weekly Bible studies are offered throughout the year. Study programs will be announced on the home page of the church website and posted in the Events calendar.
This weekly falls-prevention program includes walking, gentle exercises and an opportunity to socialize and hear presentations from a variety of speakers. Join us Friday mornings at the church from 9:30-11:00am.
As an affirming congregation since 2012, we believe in the full inclusion of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities in both our church and in our society. Members of our congregation who are LGBTQ+ are members of our Affirm Committee which meets regularly to plan activities such as Rainbow Potlucks, movie nights, and our annual involvement in Gay Pride Week activities in the community. This involves having a booth at the Pride in the Park festival and hosting a film festival of films celebrating diversity!
